I would like to make a huge shout out and thank you to Leesha (actual spelling Laoise) and Eric of WECU empowered for their awesome support with my wonderful 19yr Son. I was struggling with my Son and his behaviors and attitude. I saw Leesha’s ad on FB and her ad spoke to me. After the 1st Life Skills trip away the outcome was not what we had expected……it was even better then we had hoped. I went to Day Dream Island with WECU empowered, it was amazing. I saw my favorite bird on our forest walk and learnt what I need to do to become a hairdresser. I am now practicing more of the skills I need at home like reading, putting my toys away, cleaning the house without Mum asking and talking to new people.

WE CU empowered is an independent NDIS service provider. Our forte is helping you build the mental and emotional stamina to reach your goals and create a life that rocks. Working collaboratively with your other supports we consider all aspects of your life to to bring about the changes you wish to see in your life.

As a small, family run business we are able to give you more personalised attention. Taking the time to really hear and understand your needs on all levels. Our commitment is taking every possible action to make your goals a reality.

We provide Community Acesss Supports- one to one and in small peer groups we assist you to access the places, services and events in the community.
Psycho social We specialise in super fun life skills based camps – These camps are tailored specifically for the needs of each client so numbers are kept to a max of 4 participants. Our other area of expertise is mindfulness based therapy.

The NDIS is an Australian Government scheme that provides support to Australians with disability, their families and carers. It provides Australians with disability, who are under the age of 65, with the supports they need to enjoy an ordinary life.

An Australian citizen, living in Australia, holds a permanent visa and who:

  • Has a permanent disability that significantly affects their ability to take part in everyday activities
  • Is aged less than 65 when they first access the Scheme.
